Just to say hi hi hi!
 
I run a mobile cocktail bar service for the events industry & corporate clients and am very interested in having a discussion board for ideas.
 
Particularly interested in getting as many hits as possible to my website. www.cocktailstars.com which seems very effective in getting business however this is no good if I'm not getting the hits.
 
I've recently signed up with a very dodgy sounding SEO- we'll see if they perform in the next month. Otherwise ideas on web marketing (I have adwords) would be very welcome.
 
Congrats on a very useful site.
Perhaps users will join me for virtual cocktails?

I've replied to your SEO post on that thread - just hope the service was paid for by Credit Card!
 
As for traffic - a lot of SEO builds their promises around getting keywords to build traffic. But traffic in itself just isn't enough - it has to be highly targeted - and often the keywords that actually work have to be researched for to ensure you actually get the best performing keywords for the traffic.
 
But all that aisde - virtual cocktails sounds like a great idea - I'll be the bar tender and fill the glasses while you pour out your woes, I'll listen, then make you cheer you up and make you smile.
