Just to say that I've now opened an account with Sonnet hosting, to host some minor sites.

Their main website wasn't completed yet, but I'm under the impression that the company is a new start-up.

It has server space in London, which is particularly what I'm looking for at the moment.

More later. Smiley

Customer care has been pretty great so far. Got an e-mail when the domain name had resolved, then a special offer, and general courtesy. Nice act. Smiley

I have to say that I like these people - and have now opened a second reseller acount with them.

The attraction is firstly that the customer care is pretty good - even though you might expect new hosting companies to be very friendly with customers anyway, it's the little things - such as having scripts that e-mail you when your nameservers have resolved, and if there's a problem with them, for example.

Also - their packages are very feature packed, which has been especially attractive - running Fanastico and a various skins, this is something I specifically wanted to be able to offer some of my business customers, as well as for my own use. Smiley

I used to think Sonnet were reseller for 123reseller, but they actually just buy servers from the parent company.

Overall, I have to say, I do like www.sonnethosting.co.uk/

So far as I know, it's just a case of paying monthly - and I don't know of any Sonnet promo codes, but if you have a comments box you are welcome to mention where you were referred. Really, it doesn't matter, too much though - I recommend them at the moment simply because I like their service and their features - nothing more. Smiley
