howdy,

i've been at this as a freelance developer for a few years now. my single biggest issue is that working in a vacuum can be a great disadvantage; not staying up to date with new stuff and not being able to bounce ideas off others.

i'm not a designer nor a programmer, but have a business background so have been wanting to hook up with a business-based internet forum. or a internet-based business forum. whatever.

looking forward to picking your brains and helping out if i can.

ps oh yeah, born and bred in oz but barcelona has been home for 13 years.

Hi loki, and welcome to business-talk. Smiley

And Australia and Spain - what's wrong...don't you like the wet and windy northern latitudes? Cheesy

Hi, I know what you mean about a vaccum. I like in Seaton in Devon, it is like the third world where nobody has computers.

When I got here last month I created a portal for the town to get to know it better http://seaton.computingfuture.co.uk/forum/

Hi Loki,

Is it a small world or is it just me? Did you email me from the FriendsofEd forum recently about a Macromedia Director problem?

I am 'chocolate brownie' over there.
