Anyone got a favourite CPanel skin?

I really like the simple presentation of the simskins and Blue Lagoon - the text-based navigation I find infinitely more user-friendly than the rash of icons - not even ordered alphabetically - in the usual Cpanel X theme.

Still, even X was quite an improvement to the "classic" blue frames look. Smiley

Also, does anyone remember when Blue Lagoon used to look nothing like an X skin? Smiley

Anyway - got any favourite CPanel skins?

For me it's got to be monsoon.

When I discovered you can get new cpanel skins it tickled my fancy at first, but I guess because I don't use my reseller accounts to resell hosting I came to the conclusion that there were better things to spend my time thinking about - working on stuff that anyone but myself will ever see!

Have to admit I've not particularly enjoyed any skin since X and X2. Didn;t like Monsoon either - seems to cluttered the interface, and the colours seem hard and garish.

Maybe that's just me, though?

I never understood the concept of CPanel skins.  To me, CPanel is just a utility - something to use - not something pretty to look at.

Although I guess if it was naturall bright orange and neon green or something, I'd change it.

And I suppose if you are reselling, you can use a different skin to create your brand so to speak.

Indeed, and that's what happens. Smiley

I think a key point is that the original CPanel look a few years back was awful. Simply to use, but not well presented. Since then, people have looked to improve the presentation to their own tastes, but obviously everyone has their own. Smiley
