Asking others to give their opinions about the name is  a great idea to use.   Then you can adjust it accordingly.

Perception is everything when choosing a name. I would stay away from anything with the word "nuts" or variations of it unless you are selling nuts. Nuts will bring to mind male genetalia, craziness, or something you eat. I also would be careful with "monkey". Monkeys are silly, cute but, definately not professional. It could be used effectively for some things like maybe, Monkey Wrench Plumbing or Monkey Business Day Care. A catchy name is good but, you want people to know what your business is and that you are professional upon hearing the name.

I didn't get the impression he was actually intending to name his company Monkey Nuts... hence the "i.e." in there.

Whether to name all the sections of the company by different company names and register them seperately is another thing (and what I think he is asking).  I'm curious myself, since I have 5 seemingly unrelated businesses, all with different names, but no registered DBA (doing business as) name at all.  I do everything under my own name as a self-employed individual at this point.
