Which shopping cart is considered the best?
I know many sites have custom made carts, but if I wanted to use a premade cart, what should I choose?
I have not heard favourable things about OsCommerce, so any other suggestions there?

I tried to use Zen Cart, but it was awfully complicated to get started with. I've only one shopping cart format so far and that's OSCommerce, but I'm hoping to expand on that pretty soon. Smiley

Well, I don't know much about scripts or anything like that, but I have been examining shopping carts to use with my new website and like Oscommerce because it seems to be the easiest to learn how to use.

I have 3 shops with another ecom provider though already.

I've been using OSCommerce since and find it easy to use and modify.

It's not a perfect solution, but I think I've learned that you can't treat it "out of the box", as much as a "starter platform".

I have learned about a free shopping cart software which might be of use to us here:

After fiddling around with osCommerce and zen-cart for a while, I have actually decided that zen-cart is a lot easier for me to figure out.  THere also seems to be more templates that you can use for it.  I'm no good at designing yet.
