Does anyone sell turnkey websites on here?  I have an inkling of an idea (after I finish all my current ideas Smiley ) about creating and selling websites to the 'I wanna get into business" crowd.

Does anyone do this?  Do you do it in conjuction with reseller hosting?

No, I never ventured in that depth of marketing; however, looking around, it seems like quite a good market.  Depends what you mean by "selling websites", as you'll have competition aplent  Wink

http://www.buy-a-niche-website.com/

does something like that. They sell the format, you plug it into your page...what people don't think of is that all the artilces and such are being resold over and over, and if there isn't SEO or original content, their page is going to sit in water.

Good luck on your venture if you go that route.

I've never really hooked into the turnkey scene, but the point is well repeating as above that the more you can customise it, the better. The more unique your website, the more you can make it appealling for people to actually buy through it.

The website should have one main focus but the business and traffic for them is huge.  Everyone visits them all the time.

I think that some people are doing that on ebay. You might want to take a quick look over there to see if it would be worth your while.
