I would say that mine is actually marketing it

Marketing is a big thing yes. Competition is a pretty big problem too - trying to stand out in a sea of similar businesses.

Marketing and making network connections that are valuable I think are the biggest challenge and hurdle right now. How do you say.."i exist"? It can be frustrating when it seems so slow, but then when something goes right, you realize it was so worth it.  Promoting a service, object or site can be tricky. It's truly a learn as you go experience for me.

Keeping momentum can be hard, as well as the marketing.

I think having a plan, being able to be flexible with it, and additional seek controlled expansion, are definnitely pluses, but not always so easy to implement.

One of the biggest challenges that you can encounter is the leads being lost, the leads are recieved from different sources like, email signtaure, websites and other electronic sources,
These leads are not done proper follow up hence the lost of leads is lost of sales.

The problem is that these leads are not entered properly into the database and the job of copy and paste of leads is a pain.

Software tool can automatically enter contact details into ACT! Goldmine, Outlook, Salesforce.com Excel. Just by highlighting and in a click the contact details goes into respective fields like name, email, address, phone etc. accurately and instantly.
And saves 80% of the data entry time.

Time.

Working from home means I get to work from home, but all too often it also means choosing between sleeping and working.

Time is precious when you work from home.  It can get used quickly wether you're home or at work.  There's never enough!!

There are definite down-sides when it comes to time working from home. Unless you're the "breadwinner," people often see your work as a hobby, the kids' schools see you as an at-home parent (complete with bon-bons), the kids and spouse can sometimes have trouble with boundaries, etc. Time seems so much easier to take away from here.

I used to leave and go to a bookstore to work when my husband was home. Sometimes, I consider starting that habit again.

Lack of time, procrastination, and my fears are big trouble spots for me.  I probably need counseling or something, but I am really beginning to think I'm afraid of succeeding.  Sounds odd, doesn't it?  I'm constantly skirting the edge of full-blown success.

Yes, marketing. What is my customer base? How do I reach them? Then there is the balance I need to find between marketing to that customer base and expanding to other people so that my business isn't stagnant.

i think consistency is what i've been fighting to have.  it's more of  a factor inside of me,of course. i guess i find it hard to be consistent because i haven't really embraced the business myself.  it was originally put up by my sister and her fiance and they made me a co-owner so i guess (reading what i have just written) i have to be more involved...

I think marketing is an obvious one for any business.  After all, you aren't going to get anywhere unless you market the website, right?  And it can be really confusing and overwhelming with all the information out there about the right way to do things.
