Is anyone here a member of the Chamber of Commerce?

I'm think of joining and wonder what benefits members have received from their membership.

I've not joined any such, but I did join the Federation of Small Businesses. Some good perks for being a member, and not too expensive, either.

I'm not a member....I've also heard good things about Small Business Networks in your neighborhood, but since I'm online, I don't feel that's for me...but a friend of mine belongs to one and they only refer to her in that area...one person per business area..and you refer to each other

It's on my 2007/2008 goals list. I haven't joined yet because I'm not ready for an influx of business.

What does the Chamber of Commerce do?  The member ship fee is also a concern, but  the positives things are there.

Grace, you'd have to check with your local CoC to be sure. Some offer directories and discounts while some businesses offer discounts to other member businesses.
