Nearly every day, I get a couple cold calls from credit card services companies. Of course, I have no need to take credit cards.

They could not have gotten my number out of the phone book.

I doubt they all got my number from print advertising.

They may have gotten by spidering my site which hasn't been up that long and isn't yet returning in searches.

So, where did they all get my number?

DO they know your name or your business name when they call? If so, they ocudl have easily gotten it from 1 of many places.  A lot of businesses sell names and numbers. It could even have been a  customer.
If they do not know your name or business, then it is probably form a random dialing through the computer. When I used to do outbaound calls, that is how it was done. It is pretty common, saves on researching.

I agree with random dialing... well, not the use of it, but that it could very well be how your number was dialed.

Does your state have a "do Not Call" list?  It's helped cut down on telemarketers here.
